Dylan M., 12th grade
This animation is Dylan's first attempt at lip sync, a project he has been eager to explore. Using a line of dialogue from a favorite scene in the short film Big Iron, this piece serves as a proof of concept, bringing the character to life through synchronized movement and expression.
In this animation, Dylan explores the challenge of creating a believable heavy object lift while also telling a story. What began as a construction worker lifting a heavy load evolved into a man restocking inventory in his "shape shop," adding an unexpected comedic twist to the scene.
Professional animators compile their best and most relevant work in an animation reel.
This is Adam's reel.
